He shared with me about the Tv series, Heroes(not related to the picture above), and how it convinces you to believe that anything could be real because it is not abnormal or unrealistic, little do we know that the reason why we would think something as "unrealistic" is solely because we ourselves form these limitations with our minds, we are taught to think of things which are possible and impossible, but the truth is, anything is possible because our laws of physics and motion are only laws written by us and us alone, why do we limit ourselves when we can choose to go limitless? The powers and abilities are not so out there, it could be staring at us right here in the face, are we willing to take the chance to use it?
Our brain, and our conscience are webbed together like computer circuitry, but instead of components and devices its those memories of everything we have done or seen in the past which were forged from society and our environment, thus limiting us to what we think is realistic and unrealistic.
But I believe that anything can be realistic if I think it to be, for when I think it, I will do it. If I limit myself by thinking "oh, it's unrealistic" just because of what others have taught me in the past, then I wouldn't bother taking a step to even try. But if I told myself, it COULD be, and if I tried, there is just nothing to lose at all, but to make something realistic, requires effort, to make something come true, requires will power to believe to have that faith knowing that at the end of the day, something will happen, and even if we were to fall back at square one, at least we've gone somewhere than to have just stayed at that square for the whole time.
Our will power, our determination, and the ability to not turn away any ideas no matter the authenticity, could be our superpower in making something unrealistic in other people's eyes, realistic. We're just not sure if we're willing to take the risk, to play this game of chance, to use these little efforts in achieving something in which we are not sure of. It's a scary thought because if I placed all my determination on one card, but if the other player decides to change the rule, I might lose everything.
I always tell myself however, from time to time, to always take risks, because if I get what I want, I will be happy; if I don't, I will be wiser. Hence the reason why I'm always willing to just take that bullet and see what happens in the end. It's not easy at all in taking chances like that because it will affect your life and you'll just have to be ready to face the consequences at the end of the day.
We are more than who we think we are, because who we think we are right now at this moment is due to those memories of the past that have shaped us. We could be different, we all have a duty to do something about this planet, we shouldn't be wasted sperms, waiting for things to happen, limiting ourselves and becoming history, instead of making history. If we were to just stay, succumb to what society and majority think is right or true, the human race will not survive in this universe which is so profound, which is constantly changing and so complex. We'd be defeated by aliens too for all we know.
But be reminded not to take that risk blindly, weigh the consequences and if you think you're ready for the consequences, just do it. Because you are a superhero, you can make something out of your life, and that is what I tell myself too, and being someone with a whole list of goals ahead of her, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get there. Not knowing if it's gonna be worth it, but at the end of the day, that small step could be a giant leap, or it could still be a small step, but what matters most is that, at least I did something with my life, at least I tried and learnt something out of it.
So cheers to whatever is ahead of me, not an easy road to take, but there's nothing to lose.
